Oklahoma Leads Budget Cuts for Education, but Education Foundation and Tiger Teachers Make a Difference

According to this article in USA Today, Oklahoma leads the way in budget cuts for education. "Spending per student in Oklahoma has dropped 23% since 2008...." We are "one of only five states spending less than $3000 per pupil."

Last year, Tahlequah Public Schools Foundation helped fund $23,000 in grants.

Hey, Ace, did it tee you off that the rain ruined our 2012 Glow Golf fundraiser?

Well, we at Tahlequah Public Schools Foundation drive hard to get more green for education.

Join us October 24, 2013 at dusk on the Tahlequah City Course.

That's right. We play in the dark.  Are you up for the challenge? Of course you are! You may not see a birdie or an eagle, but you'll hear the putt-putt-putt of the golf carts.

And it's all for a good cause.

We have room for seven more teams.  Will you be on one of them?
